WORK PERMIT
Work permit falls under the TIER1 VISA application.It replaces the former HSMP.It is scheme that is designed to creat opportunities for people that are graduates and are skilled in one field or the other so that they can come over to overseas to look for greener pasture through working. You do not need to have secured a job before applying for TIER1. The initial duration of VISA is 3 years, after then it can be renewed.

How Does It Work?
There is what is called the TIER1 calculator, this calculator helps you to know whether you are qualified or not, by the time you key in your details , the calculator will return the over all scores to you and then tell you whether you are eligible or not. The good thing about this scheme is that, it tells you before hand whether you are qualified or not.
How to apply
Once the required documents have being obtained, you are set to apply for this. Knowing that you must have to provide those claims you have tested with the calcualting device. Once you can provide all of them , i think you should then be set to submit your application. It follows the normal way in which other VISA applications are done, the only difference is just the type of documents you produce and the people that are eligible for it.
